La PEROUSE Lorne

Sue & Laurel have been holidaying in Lorne for decades. 

 We bought the house is December 2007,  quit our city jobs, began renovating and gracefully transformed the house into a luxury French inspired boutique hotel we now know as La Perouse Lorne. The prints, furniture, books and artifacts they have selected are reminiscent of France. Prior to moving to Lorne, we lived and worked in Melbourne.

We are lucky to enjoy the occasional holiday in France (pictured here at La Colombe d'Or in Saint-Paul de Vence), staying in places similar to La Perouse, to ensure what they do is authentic.

Only 2 hour’s drive from Tullamarine Airport and one from Avalon Airport, a little piece of France is available in Lorne thanks to the efforts of Laurel and Sue.  They have indeed created something different.
